Gimbals.
I have a love/hate relationship with them.
They can be essential in a lot of shots; a great (and relatively easy) way to get smooth, professional looking footage. But, they can also be a hassle and get in the way of your creativity. They can be large, heavy, take time to set up and introduce even more problems which call for an overkill of rigging solutions.
So- with more and more powerful yet small cameras like the Sony A7S III, a small and simple gimbal might be all you need. So I took a look at two gimbals which claim to pack down to under the size of an A4 sheet of paper: the Feiyu Tech AK2000S and the Zhiyun Weebill S.
In performance and user experience, take a look at how they stack up. Which is the best? And, which is the best value? Those answers are not necessarily the same, so which one would you prefer?
